Tour Itinerary

09H00 – Pick up at your hotel Porto/Gaia

– Departure from the Hotel towards the city of Amarante;
– Panoramic visit to the historic center of Amarante, S. Gonçalo Church and the marginal zone and have a taste of the local sweets;
– Panoramic stop in Peso da Régua and visit the famous train station;
– Departure towards Pinhão by road N222, considered/award winning one of the most beautiful roads.

13H00 - Light lunch / picnic

– At one of the wineries enjoying the magnificent view over the river or at one of the Portuguese traditional local restaurants;
– Winery visit with wine tour and wine tasting;
– Visit to Pinhão and its iconic train station. Built in the 19th century its considered the most beautiful station in the Douro region. The station is famous for the amazing tile panels covering almost all the main building, representing several historical moments of the Douro wine region;
– Visit to one of the best viewpoints over Douro Valley at about 500 metres high above sea level.

18H00 – Arrival at the Hotel.

General conditions

1. All Tours will be made with pick-up of passengers in any accommodation from Porto or Vila Nova de Gaia, prices will be per car.

2. To make a reservation, a prepayment of 50% of the total amount of the reservation will be required. Confirmation of our availability will be given within 24 hours.

3. Please let us know if you suffer from any condition (physical, dizziness, claustrophobia, etc.), allergy or intolerance to any food.

4. Our tours will be conducted in modern and comfortable vehicles with air conditioning. Our drivers are experienced professionals who speak English and will share all their knowledge about the monuments and places to visit and also about our culture.

5. We will leave our customers as close as possible to each attraction we visit, and will often stay by the vehicle to guard the belongings that customers may have left in the car. In this way we enable our customers to explore at their own pace the magnificent places that Portugal has to offer. The driver will always be around and available to assist with any need.
